Crossing the line into Judaism

As we reach the midpoint of Hinduism, on the opposite side of the circle we address issues related to Judaism, and bringing in the people. Our adversaries are there, too, on the other side of the circle, opposing us and playing the games related to genocide  and character defamation.

This is a very difficult time period for many people, and the principles we learn from Hinduism are very important to understand and apply in our own life.

But, what happens if the principles of Diwali don't work? What if the conflict is too great?

Diwali is a time of getting relationships right again, but when we focus on the Rama's battle with Ravanna, it takes the conflict to a much higher -- lower-- level. Ravanna was not alone in his plot to abduct Sita. He was surrounded by demons, and rather than to consider them to be elemental entities, let's consider them to be people who were drawn into the genocide's ripples and are overcome by their fears. Ravanna was surrounded by psychopaths and sociopaths who were trapped in the illusion that is the basis for a genocide. They were not getting the life they wanted. No one was.

To end a genocide, someone must stand up to defend the person who is being defamed. Rama waded into battle with Ravanna and many demons were killed. He freed Sita, but the illusion was very strong, and their relationship was not right again after the battles. Ravanna got his revenge after all.

For conflict resolution, the first requirement is that everyone must be considered equal, and then an event must occur that makes everyone realize it is time to end the conflict. There is a point between Hinduism and Confucianism, called the Brick Wall, where you face your end of life crisis. This is oftentimes the point where people will come together to end the conflict, and then they must assume responsibility to undo the damage they have done, and come up with a plan that benefits everyone.

Rama's judgment of Sita interfered with their relationship, and she chose to go back to the Mother Earth.
